Haram in Islam is classified into distinct categories:
- Haram Food: This category includes items such as pork and alcohol. And along with any food or drink containing ingredients derived from them. Additionally, it covers meat that does not adhere to Islamic guidelines. And such as animals that died naturally or were killed by other animals.
- Haram Behaviors: Actions like lying, stealing, and cheating are deemed Haram in Islam. Furthermore, engaging in sexual relations outside of marriage, consuming pornography, or practicing homosexuality falls under this category.
- Haram Practices: Activities like gambling, fortune-telling, and idol worship are considered Haram in Islamic teachings.
The prohibition of Haram in Islam serves several significant purposes:
